Fairy Potion Glitter Bath (Messy Twitch Worthy Playtime)

Hello!!

On Holly's first day of Summer Holidays, I had to take a half day off work to look after her. See out YouTube video here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gkP-Nz0agUM!!

One of the activities I had for her was to make fairy potions. Basically, I put her in the bath with some water, food colouring and food glitter and let her make a mess lol

Here are some photos

The first spillage of glitter

All the food colouring and food glitter

Cleaning the utensils lol

A galaxy coloured mess!!

Yup playing in it now!! That's about right!

I ended up having to run a bath for her with all that in it!! It was a well colourful bath and she was very glittery when she came out!!

Since it was food colouring and edible glitter it all washed very easily and she had a blast!! Next might be painting in the bath.

  2. This is a lovely idea! If it's edible and safe could she have had the colours added to her bath? Love the fairy glitter. A little touch of magic is wonderful! Thank you for linking up to #ablogginggoodtime 🎉

  4. You brave lady! I hated doing messy play with mine and always admired those who made the effort! At least it was all contained in the bath :) Alison x #KCACOLS

  14. Oh my goodness. I would have had to break into to liquor cabinet. Wine wouldn't of cut it. Nope. My kids like to make messes and sometimes I let them get out all the blankets and every sheet we own and make an entire house fort. (This is usually when daddy is at work). And as much as the mess drives me crazy I remind myself that they are kids and the laughter and fun they are having, full of innocence, will someday be gone with adulthood. I am sure your daughter loved the fact that she came out of the tub all sparkly. I know mine would. She loves anything sparkly. Thanks for linking with #momsterslink and hope to see you today!
