Recipe - Smoothie!!

Hello!!

Currently it is 27c in my back garden in Scotland!! Who would have though!!

So this morning I decided to make holly and I a smoothie!! They need to be big as Holly always drinks most of them!!

Here we have coconut water. Which o actually hate on its own. But it's nice in a smoothie!! We have a berry smoothie kit from sainsburys. An my blender!!

There is no way that there is enough in this tiny little bag for me and Holly.

So I added some strawberries and bananas also from sainsburys.

Mix it all together and
Voila!! Enough for two!!

This is a good way to get fruit into a kid. Holly will eat grapes, strawberries and bananas. Sometimes apples and easy peel citrus. But this gets normal things she wouldn't normally eat in there too!!

I would defiently recommend the smoothly kits as well!! Easy for on the go!!

  5. Wow! I didn't know coconut water taste can be used for making smoothies, I am used to drinking it on its own as it's very common back home in Phils. Thanks for sharing this recipe! #TwinklyTuesday

  6. Our lil one loves smoothies! It is a great way to get the kids to eat their veggies, we use Almond Milk mostly because I can't have milk and the kids can't leave Mommy's milk alone!! #DreamTeam

  8. Love this and totally inspired to give this a go, or something similar for my little one. I've seen those smoothie bags in the freezers sections in various supermarkets but never actually tried one and now I really want to go out and get one! Fab idea, thanks for sharing it on #MarvMondays. Emily

    1. The freezer bags are good. specially when you never know if they will eat them or not. The fruit doesn't go to waste!

    1. Try just putting a little kale in with your fruits to begin with. Thats what I do with the spinach.

  11. I love smoothies! Especially in the summer months as I hate cooking in the heat. Try sneaking some spinach or kale in there...my kids never know. Thanks for linking with #momsterslink ... Hope to see you tomorrow!
